My wife grew up a hunter, and when she and I started dating, I got her a new gun case for Christmas. However, I knew nothing about guns, and I got her a rifle case instead of a shotgun case.
I’m still not sure if it was the fact that it WAS a gun case, or the fact that it was incorrect type, but I do know that 17 years later, I would never consider any gift involving a firearm…
