Sarah Palin at the 2008 Republican Convention

Posted on September 3rd, 2008 in Election 2008 by Brad

Senator McCain has found himself pure political gold in Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin is an accomplished speaker!

Who would be a better Vice Presidential candidate for Republicans than Sarah Palin? I ask with all sincerity.

This candidate supports her president, her future boss with a loyalty that has been lacking in previous administrations.

Why Would McCain Choose Palin?

I certainly have nothing negative to say about her and in fact know very little. She may be highly competent and have a big political future ahead of her, and for all I know, we might agree on many issues. That’s not the point though.

The Pope Visits Oregon

Posted on August 4th, 2008 in Humor, environment by Mr. Koolaid

The Pope was excited to visit Oregon, and was cruising on a seldom used mountain road in the Pope-Mobile, when there was a frantic commotion just at the edge of the woods.

A helpless young man, wearing sandals, shorts, and a ‘Bush Lied’ T-shirt was screaming while struggling frantically, thrashing around trying to free himself from the jaws of a 10 foot grizzly.

Time For Some Campaignin’

This is a pretty funny video, that’s not leaning either to the left or to the right side of the political spectrum…

It’s just funny ;)

Don’t Blame Oil Speculators

Pauls Krugman has a great article where he points out a possible flaw in the theory that speculators are to blame for driving up the prices of oil.

Right now, the welcome mat is out for analysts who claim that out-of-control speculators are responsible for $4-a-gallon gas.

Barrack Obamas Accomplishments

This is pretty interesting… You would think if you’re going to go on television in support of a candidate, you would have a couple of things to cite in case the subject came up, wouldn’t you?

This video pretty much speaks for itself. It’s rather long, but worth looking at to see what we may be up against…

How Many Zeros in a Billion ?

Another email receipt here, but funny and true. In my opinion, no political party is responsible, but bot have allowed it to happen…

The next time you hear a politician use the word ‘billion’ in a casual manner, think about
whether you want the ‘politicians’ spending YOUR tax money.

John McCain’s Sons

This came to me by email from a (quite) conservative friend…

Talk about putting your most valuable where your mouth is! Apparently this was not “newsworthy” enough for the media to comment about. Can either of the other presidential candidates truthfully come close to this? … Just a question for each of us to seek an answer, and not a statement.

The Average American

A recent study conducted by Harvard University found that the average American walks about 900 miles a year.

Another study by the American Medical Association found that Americans drink, on average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year.
